An important department stores chain in Venezuela accepts payments with bitcoin, the most important cryptocurrency in the market
Traki is chain of department stores that have been operating in Venezuela for more than 30 years. It includes 49 branches in many major cities throughout the country, selling clothings, accessories, personal care articles and even food.
According to the public profiles of the store on social networks, the company has opened transactions with digital assets since last October.
Traki now accepts payments in several popular cryptocurrencies that include bitcoin cash (BCH), bitcoin (BTC), dash (DASH), ethereum (ETH) and litecoin (LTC).
The economic situation in Venezuela has pushed many people involved in the cryptographic community to promote digital assets as a solution to the problems caused by fiat printing. In addition, several charities have been formed, such as the Eatbch initiative.
