Venezuela will produce medicine against Covid-19

President Nicolás Maduro announced that the country will begin mass production of the medicine called Carvativir

Nicolás Maduro, president of Venezuela, announced that the country will begin to produce its own drug to combat coronvarius, called Carvativir.

During the last balance on the pandemic, the national president indicated that “massive experiments have already been carried out with patients at the Poliedro de Caracas and the Hospital de Coche”.

According to Maduro, “Carvativir is a powerful antiviral, from Venezuela to ALBA and the world. Here we think of humanity.”

The president indicated that he has scheduled a meeting with health officials to begin the distribution of this medication, which presumably does not have any side effects.

He stressed that the new antiviral produced by Venezuelan scientists will be incorporated into the drug kit that is currently being used in the treatment of Covid-19.
