Venezuela exported 86,000 quintals of coffee during the first half of 2025

According to statements by Venezuela's Minister of Agriculture and Lands, Julio León Heredia, during the first six months of the year, the country exported 86,000 quintals of coffee, representing a 500% increase compared to the same period last year

Venezuela’s coffee exports during the first half of 2025 reached 86,000 quintals. According to the Minister of Agriculture and Lands, Julio León Heredia, the figure represents a 500 % increase compared to 2024.

The official stated that “at this rate, we project a 1,000% increase by the end of the year” and added that in the coming months, approximately 95.9 tons of green coffee will be exported to the United States.

This green coffee trade negotiation will be carried out between the national government and Corporación Karaka XXI, C.A., a company “specializing in the comprehensive development of the coffee sector.”

Corporación Karaka XXI representative Oscar Machuca explained that the batch of Venezuelan coffee will be sent to the United States, “joining five previous operations carried out to destinations such as Malaysia, Russia, Turkey, and Southeast Asia.”
