Venezuela and the EU discussed new cooperation proposals

In a meeting on Monday, the Venezuelan foreign minister and the European Union undersecretary for foreign affairs discussed a new approach to relations and cooperation

The Venezuelan Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, met on Monday with the Undersecretary for Foreign Affairs of the European Union, Enrique Mora, in order to address issues of common interest.

In a statement, it was indicated that both parties discussed a new approach to relations between the South American country and the EU, as well as proposals for cooperation in key areas.

Among the topics discussed is progress in bilateral relations, in a climate of mutual respect and a vision of progress. In the statement, Gil stressed that they discussed “cooperation proposals in various areas, such as economics and energy, for the benefit of the peoples.”

The meeting between the diplomats of Venezuela and the European Union seeks to establish a smooth path of understanding and goodwill for the progress of the peoples.
