UEFA fined Paris Saint-Germain 98,000 euros

Paris Saint-Germain must pay a fine imposed by UEFA amounting to 98,000 euros, due to inappropriate conduct in the match against Milan

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has been fined 98,000 euros for incidents during the match against Milan at the Parc des Princes, with 75,000 euros corresponding to the lighting of flares. It is noted with the closure of the Tribune Auteuil for one party due to this reason. In addition, 18,000 euros are added for blocking public roads and 5,000 euros for invasion of the playing field.

The Dutch PSV Eindhoven also faces a fine of 25,000 euros for lighting flares, throwing objects and acts of vandalism by its fans in the match against Lens. There is the possibility of prohibiting the sale of tickets to their supporters for a European competition match away from home.

On the other hand, Belgian Antwerp and Genk are fined 20,000 euros each for disturbances in the stands in their respective matches against Porto, with the warning of a possible partial closure of their stadiums.

Fines and warnings to Europe League teams

Olympiacos, in addition to facing a possible partial closure of its stadium, must pay a fine of 21,000 euros. This is due to racist insults from the stands, inappropriate behavior from their players and invasion of the field during a Europe League match against West Ham.

As for Czech side Slavia Prague, they are fined 20,000 euros for rioting, lighting flares and throwing objects in Rome. Meanwhile, Bosnian side Zrinjski will have to pay 10,000 euros for their inability to locate spectators and are threatened with playing a match behind closed doors due to racist insults from their supporters, lighting flares and throwing objects against Legia Warsaw.

It should be noted that all sanctions that do not involve the payment of a financial amount are suspended for a probationary period of two years.
