Leading the way in security and data protection, the Touch Card system, and the sustained push to bring more Venezuelans into the banking system were some of the elements that allowed Bancamiga to make a strong impact on the country's financial market this year

Advances in products and services solidify Bancamiga as a solid and innovative private entity. At the close of 2025, the institution celebrates significant milestones in expansion, technological modernization, and security.

According to a corporate statement from this private banking organization, the following is a list of the ten milestones that have marked its growth in 2025:

  1. Solutions for the business sector

The Mastercard Business Card has become a key tool for small, medium, and large businesses. It simplifies expense management and cash flow, offering benefits such as insurance and the Easy Savings Specials program, which includes training tools, planning resources, and exclusive discounts.

  1. Two years traveling the country

Bancamiga Móvil celebrated its second anniversary of bringing banking services to Venezuela. In 2025, the Fuerza Móvil team traveled to more than 13 states, opening 19,275 accounts, selling 641 point-of-sale terminals, and adding 214 new corporate clients.

  1. The one million customers and 18 years of history

A symbol of Bancamiga’s exponential growth was reached on March 20th with the historic milestone of its one millionth customer. This was a 19-year-old resident of Guatire, Miranda state. This achievement coincided with the institution’s eighteenth anniversary of operation.

  1. Cutting-edge security and data protection

The Bancamiga Suite application remains at the forefront with NFC technology for mobile payments (via Switch 7B) and the ID Check system, a verification code that ensures the security of online purchases. To strengthen this ecosystem, the bank launched its first series of cybersecurity talks, educating customers on the importance of always accessing the platform through the official domain, https://www.bancamiga.com, to prevent fraud.

  1. Leadership in point of sale (POS) terminals

The institution has made progress toward its goal of 200,000 point-of-sale terminals in the market. Devices such as the AMP 8200, AMP 8400, MPOS 2200, Aisino A75, and A80 offer contactless technology, recharge management, bill payment capabilities, and Wi-Fi connectivity.

  1. Boosting banking through kids accounts

The stability of the customer portfolio was strengthened through special weekend operations, notably the Kids accounts promoted on Children’s Day and Christmas. In just 10 Saturdays, 18,821 children and teenagers were brought into the banking system. Additionally, 6,875 adult accounts were opened, of which 4,097 were in foreign currency and 63 in pesos.

  1. Gamers card

Bancamiga launched the first card for gamers in partnership with Xtreme E-Sport Arena. This card offers special benefits, including discounts on registration fees to compete in high-performance technology venues.

  1. Inclusive innovation

This year, the institution launched new card designs with the Touch Card system. These cards incorporate distinctive indentations (round for debit, angular for credit, and triangular for prepaid) that allow for tactile identification for people with visual impairments. The Bancamiga Debit Card offers NFC technology, which facilitates international purchases and allows subscriptions to streaming services.

  1. Digital fare collection with Movi

Innovation has arrived in public transportation with the launch of Movi by Bancamiga. This application facilitates the collection and payment of urban fares by scanning QR codes, optimizing the interaction between drivers and passengers digitally.

  1. Branch network expansion

Bancamiga inaugurated its 51st branch on December 29, marking its arrival in the state of Yaracuy. Additionally, the Lido branch evolved from an external sales point to a full-fledged branch, and the La Rinconada branch was relocated to the Los Próceres Shopping Center in Caracas.

2025 has been a year of profound transformation for Bancamiga, where technological innovation and social commitment have come together to redefine the financial experience in Venezuela.
