In Chacao-Venezuela they offered a toast for Japan and sake

Entrepôt, Sonle and Azotea invited you to enjoy a Tasting in Caracas conducted by Eglantina Di Mase on the occasion of celebrating the "International Sake Day", popularly called Japanese wine or rice wine and currently celebrated all over the world

On October 1st, the Nihonshu no Hi or Sake Day was celebrated worldwide. For Japan, this date marks the end of the rice harvest as well as the beginning of the process of making sake, before which in all regions of that country, it is offered to celebrate and wish prosperity to the wineries that make it. Caracas was not left aside and Azotea, in the Municipal Market of Chacao was the epicenter of the celebration, keeping all the natural and prudent biosecurity measures this season.

Sake is an alcoholic drink made mainly from rice and water. Many factors influence the production and classification of sake, but experts or tasters can enter and guide us in the knowledge for the enjoyment of this species of wine, showing us the different varieties of rice, the water used as raw material, the individual techniques of different manufacturers, weather conditions, among others.

The event was organized by the journalist Ángela Oráa and the support of Agua Mineral VISTA, the Tasting was directed by Eglantina Di Mase (@EglanOnTheRocks). It was an initiative of @entrepot.foods, @hijolemexs, @azotea.gastrobar and Roberto Benzecry, which took place on the commercial level and on the roof of the Chacao Market

Strategic alliance with magnificent surroundings and location

In the founding and development of many cities, their market played an important role. A kind of cornerstone, it is a point of citizen meeting and exchanges in everyday life, where of course the culinary or gastronomic has an important space and place.

In the Venezuelan capital, businessmen Gustavo Ortega, Roberto Benzecry and Andrés Makowski decided to bet and add value to this context, in synergy with the authorities of the Municipal Market of Chacao.

Entrepôt, Hijole and Azotea, high-level restaurants, plus another nearby or neighboring establishment and project, called + Pizza, under another administration, have expanded and continue to strengthen the gastronomic offer of the municipality.

Roberto Enrique Benzecry explained the collaboration of the restaurants and their owners in the recovery and maintenance of areas of the Municipal Market of Chacao

Entrepôt (Asian cuisine, with a varied and extensive menu), Hijole (genuine representation of Mexican cuisine) and Azotea (gastrobar and lounge) supported their owners on the maintenance and renovation of some areas of the emblematic municipal building to adapt and optimize the already convenient market facilities.

These restaurants are places of comfortable, pleasant, festive and safe recreation that work by reservation. They are located on the floor or commercial level and the roof; a good part of the supplies necessary for its operation and the kitchens are acquired very fresh in the same municipal market. Likewise, its service offer includes delivery to the home or office of its clients.

A proposal and initiative that the Mayor of Chacao, Gustavo Duque, welcomed with enthusiasm, with the purpose of offering a better quality of life in the municipality. And a relationship between the private and public municipal sectors that the president of the Chacao Market, Caterina Macario, has been able to develop for the benefit of the institution and the community.
