Robeilys Peinado qualified for the Olympic pole vault final

This Monday in Paris, the Venezuelan athlete Robeilys Peinado qualified for the Olympic pole vault final

This Monday, Venezuelan Robeilys Peinado managed to qualify for the Olympic pole vault final in Paris.

It is important to highlight that the qualifying round was somewhat atypical, since none of the competitors “came close to the 4.70 meters that allowed direct passage to the final.”

Instead of 12 finalists in the discipline, “due to the tied result in twelfth position, the list of classified was extended to twenty out of a total of 29 participants.”

The Venezuelan Robeilys Peinado, with 4.40 meters, was one of the performers tied in twelfth position. “The ones that reached the most was the 4.55 meter bar, so the differences were very small, and the forecasts seem complicated.”

Peinado is preparing for the pole vault final that will be held this Wednesday, August 7.
