At the end of June, semiconductor company Nvidia managed to position itself above Microsoft, thus regaining its place as the world’s most valuable company.
Investor confidence regarding Nvidia’s progress in the artificial intelligence sector, as well as a potential increase in demand for its specialized chips, plays a significant role in this recovery.
Analysts, on the other hand, encourage the possibility that the company could surpass $4 trillion in the coming months, a result of the artificial intelligence boom.
In this regard, Daniel Ives, an analyst at Wedbush Securities, noted: “We believe both Nvidia and Microsoft will reach the $4 trillion market capitalization club this summer, and for the next 18 months the focus will be on the $5 trillion club, as this tech bull market is still in its early stages, led by the AI Revolution.”
At the end of June, the semiconductor company’s market capitalization was $3.86 trillion, “exceeding Microsoft’s valuation of $3.69 trillion by 4.3 %.” As for the stock market, as of Wednesday, July 2, it was trading at around $157.42 per unit, “an increase of 2.62 % compared to Tuesday’s close.”
