Microsoft introduced a version of Edge for companies

The company made this revelation at the annual Microsoft Build developer conference, led by Satya Nadella

Microsoft presented news for its Edge browser with improvements to Microsoft 365 Copilot, which is already available in private preview, and the presentation of the new Edge version for companies, which will provide facilities to work “effectively” and with security features.

This was stated during his annual Microsoft Build developer conference, where he noted that they are “raising the bar on what a browser can and should do” in order to help users and companies “stay ahead.”

In this sense, the company led by Satya Nadella announced that Microsoft 365 Copilot, powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI), is now available in a private preview version and includes new features.

Specifically, Microsoft 365 Copilot includes new capabilities that make it possible to combine the large language models, Microsoft 365 Apps, and user data in the Microsoft Graph, such as calendar, email, chat, and documents, to make it easier to  carry out actions such as writing emails or chat threads, only with a request.

Along these lines, the company also said that it added support for plugins in Microsoft 365 Copilot, and based on that, it is adopting the open plugin standard that OpenAI uses in ChatGPT.

In this way, the company claims that “interoperability is improved” in ChatGPT and increases the possibilities of the Microsoft co-pilot. In addition, this allows developers to create experiences that make it easy for users to interact with their apps using “human language.”
