LEGO inaugurated its most sustainable factory in Vietnam

The LEGO Company announced the opening of its most sustainable factory in Vietnam, where it will invest more than $1 billion

The Danish company LEGO announced last week the opening of its new factory in Binh Duong Province, Vietnam.

With an investment of more than $1 billion, the group hopes this facility will become its most sustainable.

“This plant in Vietnam becomes the sixth for the group, which already has factories in Denmark, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Mexico, and China.” It is expected to “run on 100% renewable energy by early 2026.”

The group has said the new facility will generate around 4,000 jobs, “strengthening LEGO’s presence in Asia.”

In parallel, the company is planning to open a distribution center in Dong Nai province before the end of 2025 to facilitate “regional product distribution, thus strengthening the company’s supply chain in Asia.”
