The first International Meeting on Democratic Digital Education and Open EdTech starts today with topics like culture and technological education

The 1st International Meeting on Democratic Digital Education and Open Tech EdTech is being held in Barcelona, Spain, until next July 14. It is ​​an event in which different open presentations on rights, culture and technological education will be held.

Those interested will attend until July 14 to the different talks that make up its program, which will take place in the Aula Magna of the University of Barcelona.

The 1st International Meeting on Democratic Digital Education and Open EdTech, organized by Xnet, the University of Barcelona (UB) and the Open Knowledge Foundation (OKFN), is focused on different objectives to understand the problems imposed by the current context of digitization, to propose digital strategies center from an innovative perspective and propose concrete solutions to these problems.

The event counts on the presence of the Minister for Universities, Joan Subirats and the director founder of Defend Digital Me for the privacy and digital rights of children in education in the United Kingdom, Jen Persson

Other participants are the CEO and founder of the Iteam innovation agency and the open citizen movement Öppna Skolplattformen, Christian Landgren; and the person in charge of ‘software’ projects and open educational resources of the Department of Digital Education of the Ministry of Education of France, Alexis Kauffma.
