Internacional de Seguros made a solidarity visit to the indigenous community of Tuaiwatöy in Canaima

The insurance company, one of the four leaders in the sector, expressed its support for the well-being and opportunities of native youth, members of one of our Venezuelan ethnic groups, specifically in the Uruyén Valley

La Internacional de Seguros, reiterating its institutional commitment to assert the mission of serving others, recently visited the Tuaiwatöy indigenous community, located in Santa Marta, in the Uruyén Valley, in the Canaima National Park (Bolívar), to deliver in donation: school supplies, bags and medicines.

The activity benefited a large group of children and young people who live in the area, as well as the general population, which by the way was in charge of giving a warm welcome to the spokespersons of the insurance company, showing in every moment a great feeling of gratitude.

This feeling of gratitude was reciprocated by the representatives of La Internacional de Seguros, headed by its president Hjalmar Jesús Gibelli Gómez, who led the expedition and kept his word to offer a genuinely friendly hand to the company in favor of education in Tuaiwatöy.

“Here we are. I promised it on the last trip we took, and we kept it. We want these actions to be seen by many people so that they can replicate it,” Gibelli declared, adding: “I think that if we all do our bit, the world will be different.”

This, after a welcome act in which a choir of children from the community sang various typical pieces of Venezuelan folklore, also performing various dances typical of the Pemón culture. The spirit and purity of each one of these young people moved the delegation of La Internacional de Seguros.

The value of commitment

Words like ‘joy’, ‘talent’ and ‘love’ were among the most repeated by all those present and participants in the visit to the Uruyén Valley, praising above all the emotional cultural representation in which the feelings of roots of the youth of Tuaiwatöy.

The other thing that was heard a lot was ‘thank you’, especially from the leaders of the indigenous community, who effusively appreciated the responsibility of carrying out this sacrifice and commitment of La Internacional de Seguros.
