Instagram will include moderators in live broadcasts

The social network announced that it is working on the "Live Moderators" tool, which allows you to add moderators during online events

The social network Instagram is implementing the “Live Moderators” option, which allows content creators to add moderators during live broadcasts through Instagram Live.

With this option, people with this role will be able to report comments, remove viewers from the live show or disable the content of those they consider inappropriate or harmful.

To assign moderators, content creators can choose from those on the list of suggested accounts or use the search option to choose a specific account.

Likewise, as indicated by the company through Twitter, they will be able to select those users who are part of the direct, clicking on their names. Then, a menu is displayed that includes several options, such as reporting a comment, removing it from the direct or deactivating its comments, as well as following that user or replying to it.

Instagram introduced in 2016 the function of live broadcasts for massive use by users. The number of viewers depends on the type of account from which the broadcast is made. If the account is private, only those people who have been previously accepted by the administrator can access it. In the case of the public ones, they can be seen by all the users who wish to do so.
