Google announced new updates for Chrome OS

The technology giant launched a new software update that brings with it multiple novelties

The technology giant Google decided to launch a new software update that brings multiple new features to all computers with Chrome OS. The first one is Phone Hub, a space that allows you to control some basic parameters of your Android smartphone from your computer.

With this option, users will be able to reply to the messages they receive on their mobile, check its charge and coverage, turn on the WiFi hotspot and even make the phone start ringing in case we have lost it.

Another interesting novelty in this new version of Chrome OS is the synchronization of WiFi passwords with Android devices. In this way, if we connect the Chromebook to a WiFi network, our mobile will also do it without having to enter the password again.

The only requirement for this synchronization to work correctly is that both devices have been signed in with the same Google account.

The North American company also announced that, in the coming days, it will be possible to use the Nearby Share function to share files instantly and securely between a Chromebook and other Chrome OS or Android devices.
