Gemini will definitively replace Google Assistant
Starting September 4th, Google Assistant will no longer be available and will be replaced by Gemini
Google Assistant will no longer be available starting September 4th to make way for Gemini, completing the transition that began last year.
The tech company has already begun notifying users of this deactivation on mobile phones, tablets, and other linked devices, adding that the arrival of the new assistant may take a little while.
Once set up on the device, Gemini can be activated by saying “Hey Google” or by pressing and holding the power button.
The change is driven by the development of artificial intelligence, which seeks to provide answers to users’ questions and needs.
