FIFA 22 will arrive in October this year

Electronic Arts confirmed that the game will be released for different platforms on October 1st, 2021

The video game studio Electronic Arts (EA) set a date for the arrival of the next installment of its football franchise, FIFA 22, which will be released on October 1st on PS5, Xbox Series X and S, PC through Origin and Steam, Stadia, PS4 and Xbox One.

The new FIFA 22 will employ next-generation HyperMotion technology, which makes use of machine learning and uses motion capture of 22 real footballers at the same time in game situations, to improve the realism and fluidity of the video game.

EA uses algorithms to learn from 8.7 million frames of matches, and writes new animations and movements for shots, passes or combinations. This new feature comes to the version for next generation consoles and Stadia.

FIFA 22 also includes other new features such as a completely redefined goalkeeping system, which gives each goalkeeper more personality and consistency, as well as a new club-building experience in Career Mode and reimagined gameplay in VOLTA mode.

The FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT) mode has also been updated with the introduction of the new FIFA Ultimate Team Heroes, new elements that represent the stories of some of the most well-known footballers.

In total, the new EA video game will have more than 700 teams in more than 90 stadiums and 30 different leagues around the world, including exclusively the UEFA Champions League, the Europa League, the new UEFA Conference League, Premier League, Bundesliga , LaLiga Santander, ‘CONMEBOL Libertadores’ and ‘CONMEBOL Sudamericana’.
