Fevipan guarantees production of ham bread for Christmas
In recent statements by Tomás Ramos López, president of the Venezuelan Federation of Bakery and Related Industries (Fevipan), there is production capacity to guarantee ham bread on Venezuelan tables this Christmas
In response to alleged rumors of a possible shortage of traditional ham bread this Christmas in Venezuela, Tomás Ramos López, president of the Venezuelan Federation of Bakery and Related Industries (Fevipan), indicated in an interview with Unión Radio that the traditional dish will not be missing from the table this coming holiday season.
Ramos López reaffirmed the sector’s capacity, emphasizing: “We have enough production, we have enough diners,” while lamenting the annual speculation about the bread shortage.
The president of Fevipan emphasized: “We have enough factories and delicatessens to sell ham to all bakers,” so consumers can rest assured and ignore the rumors.
Regarding the price of ham bread, Ramos López explained that “a single price cannot be set, since each bakery has its own structure. Therefore, each establishment will seek to sell the bread at the closest price to make it affordable to consumers in their area.”
