Improvement in private health services in the country, benefiting more Venezuelans
Adán Celis, president of Fedecámaras, indicated that this work group will be responsible for generating public policy proposals that provide solutions to positively impact the performance of the Health area in the country.
For his part, the president of Cifar explained that among the short-term objectives of this instance are the formalization of the health sector, regularizing the legal framework of the sector and becoming a catalyst for solutions for the resolution of issues of interest in this area.
Likewise, Dr. González-Silén, highlighted that the members of the commission are betting that it “will be the professional reference that inspires the leaders of the health sector to consolidate a model of care focused on value. This translates into giving priority to the benefit of patients, reducing costs throughout the chain and optimizing resources. The members of the commission will join forces, share information and assume commitments that positively impact the entire system and each Venezuelan,” he indicated.
Among the aspects to be discussed by this commission are those related to the current situation of the sector, economic scenarios, application of technology and innovation in the area, generation of big data to promote plans and projects with high social impact, update on the regulatory framework of the sector and evaluation of study programs that require corporate support/sponsorship.
