The Sec approved operations in the United States of the Ethereum ETFs in cash starting this Tuesday, July 23 in the morning once the receipts were received and all means related to these commercial operations were activated.

According to ETF Store President Nate Geraci, Bitwise was the first to release the information and create the website for its Ethereum spot ETF.

Regarding the announcement, Bloomberg analyst James Seyffart noted that “of the nine funds proposed to the SEC, the only ones that do not yet have official documents are the Ethereum ETFs proposed by Grayscale (ETHE / ETH). For the rest, it seems that the products of BlackRock, Fidelity, VanEck, 21Shares and Invesco were also duly approved”, which is why they also began operations this Tuesday.

SEC approval took months of analysis and discussions about the product’s viability. However, finally, the US entity “approved the S-1 forms that guide the start of operations of these funds.”

In the ordinary session of April 25, the National Assembly of Venezuela approved in first reading the Venezuela-China Agreement on Air Services.

According to Congressman Franklin Rondón, in charge of presenting the first discussion of this binational bill, the negotiations have been carried out “in accordance with the provisions of articles 154 and 197, paragraph 18 of the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.”

This agreement is expected to benefit trade relations between Venezuela and China, strengthening agreements reached between Presidents Nicolás Maduro and Xi Jinping of China.

El Salvador has been in the tip of the iceberg since the adoption of Bitcoin as a national circulation asset. Now it is moving towards the creation of the Digital Assets Issuance Law, for its regulation, protection and commercialization.

This Monday the proposal was voted in parliament, obtaining the necessary votes and the support of the Economic Commission of El Salvador. The objective of the instrument will be the regulation of all operations with digital assets in the issuance of public offerings.

It was revealed that the “public offers may be made by the State, the Ministry of Finance, the Central Reserve Bank, autonomous institutions, as well as private natural and legal persons.” The National Digital Assets Commission will act as the governing body.

Josué Merlos, superintendent of commercial obligations stressed: “It is not that it is going to be handled with Bitcoin, the text of the law does not say so; however, it is a denomination that probably has an objective of continuing to promote the use of bitcoin for the benefit of tourism, for example.”
