Elon Musk, billionaire owner of Tesla, stated that he is very likely to dedicate more time to the electric car company starting in May and reduce his time at the Department of Government Efficiency (DODGE).
Musk’s announcement, which has not indicated that he will stop collaborating with the Donald Trump administration, generated a nearly 4% increase in Tesla shares.
According to the magnate, “he will dedicate one or two days a week to government affairs as long as the president wants, to also focus on his electric car company, which has been affected by Trump’s tariffs.
On the tariff issue, he will simply give his opinion, advocating for lower tariffs.”
