During the first quarter of 2024, electronic commerce in Venezuela grew 20 %, according to the president of the Venezuelan Chamber of Electronic Commerce (Cavecom-E), Richard Ujueta.
The information was provided this Monday during a radio interview, where Ujueta indicated that “Venezuela is preparing for cross-border trade.” He added that it is essential to continue working on the issue of electronic invoices as a key point in exports.
According to the official, electronic commerce has shown sustained growth, which inserts the country into the global change, where estimates at the beginning of this year by eMarketer stood at over $6 billion in 2024 and $7 billion by 2025.
