Republican Donald Trump won the US presidential election on Tuesday, November 5, against Democrat Kamala Harris

The American media have attributed to Republican Donald Trump the victory in the presidential elections this Tuesday, November 5, against Democrat Kamala Harris, with 70,944,123 votes (51%) and 66,028,931 votes (47.5%), respectively.

With this victory, Trump becomes the 47th president of the country, after his defeat in 2020 against Joe Biden.

Leaders of different countries, as well as NATO and the European Commission, have sent their congratulations to Trump, who will take up the new mandate in January 2025.

Strong challenges await him in key sectors, such as the stabilization of the American economy, migration, relations with China, the environment, the war between Russia and Ukraine, among others.
