Conviasa will launch a flight to connect Margarita and Manaus

As of March 30, the Venezuelan airline Conviasa will offer a connection to Manaus, Brazil, from the island of Margarita

Venezuela will connect the tourist island of Margarita with the Brazilian city of Manaus by air starting next March 30, the state-owned Consorcio Venezolano de Industrias Aeronáuticas y Servicios Aéreos (Conviasa) announced.

Through its Twitter account, the state airline reported that, “as of March 30,” it will connect the country with the South American giant with a flight to Manaus, a “new destination.”

According to the itinerary shared by the company, the flight will depart from Porlamar, in Nueva Esparta state, to Puerto Ordaz, Bolívar, a border region with Brazil, from where it will depart to Manaus.

The Executive announced at the beginning of the year that it planned to open an air route between Brazil and Margarita during the first quarter of 2023, and announced that it is working on the activation of direct flights between Caracas and Sao Paulo, through Conviasa.
