ChatGPT launches its own app for iOS

OpenAI announced the launch of the chatbot for the iOS operating system store for the United States

OpenAI, developer of the ChatGPT generative artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot, has launched the free native application of this product for devices with the iOS operating system.

ChatGPT is a language model that processes and generates language-related content, so it is capable of maintaining a text conversation and has the ability to link ideas, as well as remember previous conversations.

The research company has now released the ChatGPT app for iOS devices, which is free to use and can sync activity history across all devices where it has been downloaded.

OpenAI commented that this service integrates Whisper, its open source automatic speech recognition (ASR) system, which allows voice input and offers transcription in multiple languages.

Thus, he recalled that ChatGPT obtains accurate information without examining ads, offers personalized advice, serves as creative inspiration (because it suggests, among other things, gift ideas) and learning opportunities.

OpenAI noted that, in addition to the free version, it gives ChatGPT Plus for iOS subscribers exclusive access to the capabilities of GPT-4 and other functionality, such as faster response times.

At the moment, the ChatGPT application, available in the App Store, has arrived in the United States and will expand to more countries in the coming weeks, although it has not specified which ones it will be available in. It has also advanced that it will also do so on Android devices.
