The Venezuelan reached the milestone of jumping up to 15.74 meters in order to set a new record, specifically in Belgrade where she herself had the previous mark

The Venezuelan Yulimar Rojas managed to fly up to 15.74 meters to sign another global world record, specifically in Belgrade, where she improved the 15.43 that she also achieved in her last attempt in Gallur two years ago.

With this new crown, the Venezuelan writes another milestone in the sport by becoming the first woman in the entire world to win the World Cup triplet consecutively, after winning gold in Portland 2016, Birmingham 2018 and Belgrade 2022 .

The “Negrita del Tumbao” looked quite comfortable during the competition; her first jump was the one that led her immediately to dominate her rivals (15.19m), the second attempt was null and in the third jump she left a record of 15.04 meters.

Next, for her fourth start, the world record holder, she jumped to nothing. But the spark of the Creole would not take long to appear with another great jump of 15.36 meters and she continued to score, so she reached 15.74 meters to sign her new record.
