The president of the Venezuelan Chamber of Electronic Commerce (Cavecom-e), Richard Ujueta, has indicated that in Venezuela, half of the companies are selling online to increase sales.

According to a report from the Chamber, “for the first four months of 2025, 41 % of national companies will sell their products and services online.”

Ujueta affirms that merchants have opted for this online sales method “as a strategy to increase their sales and gain access to other markets.”

Projections for the end of 2025 point to an increase in the percentage of companies using the Internet as a marketing platform.
