A delegation from the Carter Center will arrive in Venezuela on June 28 to participate as observers in the presidential elections on July 28

The Carter Center, based in Atlanta, United States, confirmed the sending of a delegation to Venezuela on the occasion of the presidential elections on July 28, thus confirming the invitation to be observers of the elections extended by the National Electoral Council.

The confirmation of their participation in the electoral process of the South American country was made through a letter from the director of the organization, Paige Alexander, and the letter was already received by the CNE, along with the memorandum of understanding signed by Alexander and the president of the CNE. , Elvis Amoroso.

As reported by the Carter Center to CNN, the delegation will arrive in the city of Caracas on June 28, which will allow them to participate in the electoral simulation on June 30.

The Carter Center observer team returns to Venezuela after the last accompaniment in the 2021 regional elections.
