Caracas will host Venezuela Energy Week 2026 from October 26 to 29. The event will bring together representatives of local and international companies, including US firms, in the Venezuelan capital to analyze investments in the national energy sector.
Participants will include “financiers, service providers, and global operators with the aim of channeling short-term capital into the energy sector.”
The summit has the support of the Ministry of People’s Power for Hydrocarbons and the state-owned Petróleos de Venezuela (PDVSA).

Among the main objectives of the meeting is the analysis of steps to “accelerate investment in the country, home to the world’s largest proven oil reserves (more than 300 billion barrels) and 195 trillion cubic feet of natural gas.”
The agenda includes technical conferences on “exploration and production (upstream), digital optimization using artificial intelligence for reservoir management, and discussions on developing the local workforce.”
A section called “Youth in Energy” will be included to address mentorship and knowledge transfer for the next generation of professionals.
