Venezuelan bank branches will be closed this Friday, July 24th, for the national holiday commemorating the birthday of Simón Bolívar, the Liberator.

Users of the national banking system can use each institution’s digital channels that day to carry out transactions from home, such as transfers, payments, balance inquiries, and more.

Through ATMs operating throughout Venezuela, citizens can withdraw cash using their debit cards, which will also allow them to pay for purchases at commercial establishments.

The Superintendency of Banking Sector Institutions of Venezuela (Sudeban) recommends that users of national banks make cash withdrawals in advance at physical branches to avoid problems during the July 24th holiday and the weekend.

They can also schedule payments due on that date now to avoid service interruptions or subscription disruptions.
