With innovation and entrepreneurship as fundamental pillars of its corporate social responsibility management, Bancamiga deployed a range of actions on a national scale and with high impact in different areas
During 2024, Bancamiga consolidated itself as one of the main private banks in the country and carried out actions that reaffirmed its social commitment to Venezuela, by investing in high-impact programs and initiatives for the benefit of our society and building a sustainable future for all Venezuelans.
With innovation and entrepreneurship as fundamental pillars of its social responsibility management, Bancamiga deployed a range of actions nationwide, covering education, culture, sports and environmental care. In addition, it renewed alliances and added new strategic allies, both public and private, to multiply the impact of its actions.
According to the President of the Board of Directors of Bancamiga, José Simón Elarba, this bank is a socially responsible company that “not only stands out for being one of the innovative institutions of Venezuelan banking but also has among its priorities the growth of the country, seeking to ensure that all people enjoy well-being. Our commitment is to the development of all Venezuelans.”

More than 3,000 people throughout the country benefited from the bank’s training programs that include forums, workshops, seminars, consultancies and master classes, both in person and online. Topics such as business model, financing, marketing and digital marketing were addressed to strengthen the capabilities of entrepreneurs and micro-entrepreneurs.

Sowing seeds for the future
In terms of education, the President of the Board of Directors of Bancamiga highlighted that an unprecedented program was launched in educational institutions in Caracas called “Creating Ideas. Together for Venezuela”, for the generation of innovative ideas that contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) of the 2030 Agenda of the United Nations (UN).
In cooperation with Aprendo y Emprendo, the program was implemented in educational centers in popular areas of Caracas, with the active participation of more than 300 students, promoting creativity and citizen participation, giving new generations the opportunity to participate and be agents of change in the construction of a more sustainable future for the country.
Social commitment to health
In another order of ideas, Elarba mentioned that to continue strengthening the care services of two emblematic public health centers in Caracas, Bancamiga contributed to the work of the Dr. Domingo Luciani Hospital in Caracas, with the delivery of medical materials such as an instrumental set for bariatric surgeries, three boxes of instruments for specialized surgeries in the traumatology and orthopedics unit, as well as the donation of 42 leaded x-ray protection implements.

Due to the importance of preserving artistic heritage, promoting comprehensive training and cultivating the values of Venezuelan identity, Bancamiga has extended actions to contribute to the social and cultural development of Venezuelans, said José Simón Elarba.
