Maturín is a city and space in eastern Venezuela with a potential that is lost from sight. As the capital of the state, Monagas is the seat of public powers and has attractive sports, commercial and tourist facilities. It is the heart of an agricultural, livestock and industrial entity and territory, which is part of the Orinoco Oil Belt and the Special Agri-Food Economic Zone.
This Thursday, July 18, Bancamiga gave a boost to the growth of the city and the entire Monagas state, by inaugurating the Maturín Centro agency, which together with the other one in Maturín makes this capital of the six in which Bancamiga has two or more agencies.
The President of the Board of Directors of Bancamiga Banco Universal, José Simón Elarba, expressed his pleasure at being in charge of the opening ceremony of the institution’s 48th agency, which opens its doors in a city of thriving commercial and economic activity, which has in its vicinity with rich oil deposits in the sectors of Boquerón, Mata Grande and Amarilis, and which is also a strategic connection point with the east and south of Venezuela.
“Maturín not only has a great impact on the economic development of the country. In my personal case it has witnessed my growth as a human being and businessman. Many have been the kilometers traveled in the city and many members of my family, friends and loved ones who live here today,” he said.
He added that when opening this agency there is a deep feeling of joy, satisfaction and above all “a commitment that we must all work hard together for its success. I am sure that the Maturín Centro agency will be an ally for the growth and prosperity of the people of Monaco and Venezuelans in general, just as the Maturín agency has been for almost four years,” he emphasized.
