Bancamiga marked a milestone with “Training to Transform”: a new program and its first major conference on AI
More than two thousand attendees filled the Ríos Reyna Hall at the Teresa Carreño Theater. Participants updated and enhanced their knowledge with speakers of international stature and reach.
Bancamiga successfully presented its “Training to Transform” initiative, reaffirming its position as the leading bank in technological innovation and a socially responsible institution, committed to training Venezuelan talent and the Business development in the country.
More than two thousand attendees, filling the Ríos Reyna Hall at the Teresa Carreño Theater, had the opportunity to update their knowledge with Sergi Grimau, a Spanish motivational speaker specializing in leadership and change management; and with Venezuelan businesswoman Verónica Ruiz del Vizo, a strategist in marketing, technology, and communication.
The speakers presented talks containing theoretical and practical knowledge, both necessary and useful for leading change in the digital age, and expanding access to artificial intelligence tools that help or contribute to increasing business productivity.
The launch of Bancamiga’s initiative, designed to present international speakers and propel the country to the forefront of global trends, marked a turning point in training activities for the financial sector in Venezuela.
“At the bank, we know that knowledge is capital. We understand that behind every powerful idea lies transformation, lies growth. That’s why we designed the ‘Train to Transform’ program, to bring international experts to Venezuela, encourage the population to adopt global trends, foster innovation, and actively contribute to the country’s development,” said José Simón Elarba, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bancamiga.

Bancamiga Presented a Distinguished Panel
In the keynote address of the event, “Human AI: The Experience That Balances Everything,” Sergi Grimau employed a clear, direct, and deeply motivating style. In his presentation, he offered key insights for achieving the conscious integration of artificial intelligence and the human factor, so that they generate a lasting and transcendent impact in any field. By staying connected to what makes us unique, we are capable of leading change.
Throughout his conversation and interaction with the attendees, he mentioned and highlighted several times—as examples—the authenticity, originality, and value of Special Olympics athletes and the Special Olympics organization.

Verónica Ruiz del Vizo, CEO of Working on Solutions (WOS), presented “Two Brains and One Heart: How AI Drives Productivity and Decision-Making in Business,” an inspiring conference aimed at leaders and teams who must embrace change in their organizations to ensure their companies’ competitiveness.

Bancamiga, as a socially responsible institution, has committed to invest in the training of Venezuelan talent. The institution promotes the transition from training to action, transforming ideas into sustainable businesses and contributing to the growth of the national economy.
A Festive Ending to a Memorable Event
This memorable and educational event by Bancamiga, designed to foster successful transformation, concluded with a special surprise performance by the Gurrufío Ensemble, celebrating its 40th anniversary. Their repertoire was both impactful and highly innovative, rooted in the rich Venezuelan musical tradition.
“Training to Transform” received a standing ovation from the enthusiastic and numerous audience, who expressed their gratitude and determination to further their education.
