Bancamiga incorporates the C2P button in its Internet Banking

The system makes it easier for businesses to manage customer collection operations through Bancamiga Points of Sale via Interbank Mobile Payment

A new step of innovation for the benefit of its legal clients was taken by Bancamiga by incorporating the C2P button in its Internet Banking, which allows managing the payment of commerce to the natural person.

Carlos Vizcaya, web developer, pointed out that C2P is a new charging mechanism, another alternative, for businesses affiliated with Bancamiga and that it dematerializes the use of the card.

The inclusion of this button will allow the client, once he enters the portal, to know the amount charged, all the transactions of the day and to see the movements of the C2P and P2C channels. You will also be able to observe a module to create different boxes and users in order to process and verify C2P collection operations in real time. And it offers the ability to review the history of transactions.

To make the payment, the following steps must be followed:

  • Enter the data in the side menu, in the case of Administrator or Ticket Office
  • Click on the C2P button or press the space key
  • Enter the data for the collection: bank, ID / RIF, telephone and amount
  • Enter the security code
  • Confirm the transaction

The security code or OTP number is obtained when entering Bancamiga Suite. It is a “one time use” numeric password valid for only 15 minutes. In case it expires, you can request a different one by pressing the “New” button just to the right of the last generated key.

Simple and fast process

Unlike mobile payment where the customer is the one who pays, with C2P the dynamics change. Now there is a request for collection from a legal account, in which the natural person pays with that code that is on the phone.

Vizcaya recalled that the C2P Bancamiga was initially developed so that businesses are the ones who manage the collection operations from their customers via Interbank Mobile Payment, through the Bancamiga Points of Sale, in a quick and simple process, without the need for a card. This fact made the institution the first in the country to offer C2P at POS.

“On that occasion we targeted our clients who had POS Bancamiga and who needed to massify the payment options. We installed an application at the point of sale at no additional cost, from which they could also manage the charges to the natural person”, he added.

With the C2P in Internet Banking, Bancamiga continues to offer its clients cutting-edge services and products that meet their needs and contribute to making life easier for Venezuelans.
