The Venezuelan flag bearer for the Pan American Games in Santiago de Chile was seen calm during the journey through the streets and avenues of the Baruta municipality, always accompanied by her manager Marvin Blanco.

“Tomorrow I am leaving for Paipa (Colombia) to continue my preparation for the Pan American Games. Today I felt very good and the race was very well organized. Caracas Rock is my favorite race because of its high level. I loved the Bancamiga point on the route. “It is wonderful what Bancamiga is doing for sports and running in Venezuela. Thank you for the support.”

The best runner in the history of Venezuela in the 5,000 and 10,000 meter dash expressed her gratitude to Bancamiga for the support it offers her on her path to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, where she hopes to qualify in the distances of 1,500 and 5,000 meter dash.

Among the men, Colombian José Mauricio González reached the top of the men’s podium, winning with 29.48, leaving Miranda State native Whinton Palma (30.21) and Gabriel Guzmán (30.38) in second place.

The race started at 7:00 am from the Valle Arriba golf courses, with the presence of runners from all over Venezuela, on a route that had as its most demanding points the return slope at the level of Prados del Este and the ascent towards Chuao, where Bancamiga precisely placed an entertainment point that aroused the enthusiasm of the participants. It was also like “a breath of oxygen” to continue toward the goal, said Rubén Darío González, one of the participants.

And at that point near kilometer 7, dozens of collaborators and volunteers from the bank cheered and shook hands with the athletes, in addition to being able to enjoy a good musical touch.

During the press conference, Marlon Monsalve, from Gatorade Venezuela, thanked Bancamiga Banco Universal and its executive president Ariel José Martínez, who at times was also supporting the runners at the entertainment point, for their support of Caracas Rock and the sport.

Near Plaza Alfredo Sadel, Bancamiga parked its mobile unit, which since June has been traveling throughout the country to connect more Venezuelans with banking services and bring them closer to the products and services that the bank offers such as its accounts in bolivars and in foreign currency, points of sale and the Bancamiga Mastercard Debit Card, which allows you to make online purchases, subscribe to streaming platforms and make withdrawals abroad.

This Sunday, once again, Bancamiga reaffirmed the importance for the institution of supporting all those initiatives that seek the well-being and better quality of life of Venezuelans.
