Bancamiga and Ascenso are allied for sport of adventure and nature

Bancamiga, Banco Universal and Festival Ascenso join forces to establish a strong alliance with the aim of consolidating the practice of sport in contact with nature, through the realization of different activities.

The Banff Festival, to be held between June 13 and 14, at the Chacao Cultural Center, marks the beginning of this agreement, in which both parties contribute to the growth and development of a better society.

“For the last 17 years, Ascenso adventure center has brought the Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour to Venezuela, which is the most important film festival in the world. This activity takes place every year in Canada and then travels to more than 60 countries around the world,” said Frida Ayala and Oscar Corona, directors of Ascenso.

Meanwhile, Alberto De Armas and Carmelo De Grazia, executive president and head of Bancamiga’s social responsibility programs, showed their enthusiasm for this alliance “in favor of the development of adventure sports and love of nature.” This is the new commitment of our financial institution to promote the Corporate Social Responsibility programs.”

The fundamental theme of the videos that will be presented between Thursday and Friday in the festival’s programming is related to adventures in the mountains and performances of climbers, cyclists, surfers, paragliders, skiers, “all with a high level of excellence and quality”, assured the organizers.

This international festival is an appetizer for the national version scheduled for the month of September, in which the best initiatives linked to the country are projected.

One of the main objectives of Ascenso, which now has the support of Bancamiga, is to establish an emotional connection between sport and nature, and with values ​​such as companionship, teamwork, improvement and social and environmental commitment.
