Bancamiga Banco Universal opened its first agency in Nueva Esparta state on Thursday, bringing its products and services even closer to a region with great tourist and economic potential for the country.
The new offices are located in the Rattan Shopping Center, stage II of the K Shopping Center, local P4, PB, Edf. 1, Porlamar, Nueva Esparta state.
Merlys Sánchez, representative of Bancamiga’s Business Directorate, pointed out that the institution has stood out for its totally innovative technological products in the market, since they respond to the real needs of the Venezuelan people.

The Porlamar branch is number 25 of the institution and the third in eastern Venezuela, after Puerto La Cruz, Anzoátegui state, and Maturín, in Monagas, which reaffirms the solid growth of the bank, which with its products and services has become one of the main ones in the Venezuelan financial system.
More services focused on customer service and satisfaction
In the agency’s comfortable environment, Bancamiga staff will be available to meet the needs of customers who will be able to open their accounts in bolivars and in foreign currency, as well as learn about the benefits of the Currency Card.
Sánchez also made reference to the Bancamiga Exchange Desk, with which customers can buy and sell currencies through Bancamiga online, and to the Bancamiga points of sale, the most complete and versatile in the market, by offering merchants a commission for each Movistar, Movilnet, Digitel, Simple TV and Inter recharge, stamping of 5y6 or play El Andinito de la Lotería del Táchira.
“This is one more step for the consolidation of Bancamiga in eastern Venezuela. It is a demonstration of the constant growth of our institution that, with the sustained work of its collaborators and their excellent service, is among the most profitable banks in the country, with a wide portfolio of clients,” he added.
The inauguration of the agency in Porlamar is one more step to comply with the bank’s objectives and general guidelines, with which Bancamiga reaffirms its commitment to its clients and to Venezuelans in general, who will have greater financial facilities.
The Porlamar agency joins those of Altamira, La Castellana, Chacao, Propatria, Sabana Grande, Cementerio, Palo Verde, Parque Humboldt, La Rinconada and Ibarras, in Caracas; Los Teques, Charallave Sur, Santa Teresa del Tuy and Guatire, in the state of Miranda; Maiquetía, in Vargas; Galería Plaza, in Maracay (Aragua); Boulevard Plaza and Guaparo, in Carabobo; Puerto Ordaz and Upata, in Bolívar; Puerto La Cruz in Anzoátegui; Maturín in Monagas; Barinas, in the state of Barinas and Barquisimeto, in the state of Lara.
In the coming weeks, Bancamiga will open another three new offices in Acarigua and Guanare, in Portuguesa; and in Maracaibo, Zulia state, which will reach 28 in this year 2021.
