The cryptocurrency exchange Binance announced that it is preparing an investment of 115 million dollars to be able to develop this ecosystem within the region.
This was announced by the company’s CEO, Changpeng Zhao, during a talk with Minister Cédric O at the French Ministry of Finance in Paris.
Binance is carrying out this new initiative, officially dubbed “Objective Moon”, in collaboration with local fintech association France FinTech. The partnership will help Binance connect and work with the local fintech sector.
According to the announcement, Objective Moon would see the development of a Binance research and development center in France. To this end, the cryptocurrency exchange plans to recruit crypto and blockchain talents from across France and Europe.
The exchange aims to work on a decentralized accounting technology accelerator, dubbed the Objective Moon Accelerator and an online education program to generate new talent for the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry.
