Instagram launches the “Live Rooms” function

The social network, from now on, will allow you to have a live broadcast with up to four people at the same time

The social network Instagram introduced a new function, Live Rooms, which allows its users to carry out live broadcasts together with up to three other people, combining the four signals into one.

Until now, Instagram only allowed live broadcasts to be carried out by a maximum of two simultaneous users, but with the Live Rooms function these broadcasts are doubled.

“With this new functionality, new creative possibilities are opened, such as being able to start a space for conversation, question and answer sessions, create a jam session, collaborate with other artists or simply spend time with friends,” said the social network through of a statement.

To start a Live Room, users can swipe left and select the live camera option. Then you have to select a title and press the ‘Rooms’ icon to add the guests. From there, the user can see the people who have requested to do a live with him or her and can also search for people who want to add to the live.

When you start, the organizer stays at the top of the screen when you add guests. From now on you can add up to three guests at once or one by one. Followers of each guest will be notified when a Live Room starts.
