The Minister of People’s Power for Food, Carlos Leal Tellería, indicated that Venezuela has the capacity to stock shelves with food, guaranteeing supply for almost four months, following the June 24 earthquakes and the arrival of the Super Niño phenomenon.

He emphasized the joint work between the productive sector and government agencies for the immediate restocking of shelves, ensuring supply to the population.

The minister spoke about revitalizing the productive system during the inauguration of a new Pdval headquarters in the La Concordia sector of Barquisimeto, Lara state.

Furthermore, he referred to a storage strategy that will support national distribution, initiate export plans, and implement preventative measures against the impact of climate events such as the Super Niño phenomenon.
