Aruba announced this weekend, via a NOTAM, the reopening of its air border with Venezuela, representing the gradual resumption of commercial flights only from Queen Beatrix International Airport to Venezuelan territory.
Juan Gotopo, Vice President of the La Vela de Coro Chamber of Commerce, stated that “the authorization applies exclusively to commercial flights.” Regarding general aviation and private transfers, the Aruban government “will announce the formal start date later, as this category requires additional technical coordination among the institutions involved.”
