The United States is home to the world’s richest people

Forbes published its list of the Top 10 richest people in the world for May. Elon Musk remains in first place, but the list also includes Larry Page, Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg, and Rob and Jim Walton

The list of the 10 richest people in the world in May, according to Forbes, includes Elon Musk, Sergey Brin, Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg, Larry Ellison, Michael Dell, Jensen Huang, Rob Walton, and Jim Walton.

For those on the list, more money means well-being; but these fortunes have a direct impact on the financial, social, technological, and political sectors.

Most of these magnates are American citizens in the technology sector. But in general, these fortunes have an impact on job creation, innovation, and the generation of resources to meet the needs of millions of people.

However, they also perpetuate social inequality by concentrating the greatest amount of economic resources in the hands of a few, leaving decision-making power in the hands of a small group of individuals.

Likewise, the concentration of wealth in the Top 10 has a political impact not only within the United States but also generates influence globally, giving the country a dominant position in the economy and means of control.
