The reactivation of consular services and air connections between Venezuela and the Dominican Republic was announced this Sunday, February 1, following an agreement that ends the suspension that had been in place since July 2024.

The announcement was made by the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry in a statement, indicating that this reactivation will take place in the coming days.

Foreign Minister Yván Gil stated: “Likewise, both governments have agreed to instruct their respective aeronautical authorities to reactivate air connections between the two countries.”
