Bancamiga opens all 50 branches nationwide this Saturday for Kids Christmas Campaign

To mark the end of its Kids Christmas Campaign, Bancamiga is offering children and teenagers aged 9 to 17 with national ID cards the opportunity to open an account and receive a free Bancamiga Mastercard Debit Card

This Saturday, December 13, Bancamiga concludes its successful Kids Christmas Campaign, which has become a unique opportunity for children and teenagers aged 9 to 17 with national ID cards to begin their journey into the financial world.

This December, as a gift, children and teenagers will receive a free Bancamiga Debit Card, available in various versions, with contactless technology. They can use the card to make payments at points of sale, top up their mobile accounts, and make mobile payments, according to a statement from the bank.

Requirements, scope, and benefits

To open an account, children and teenagers must bring their birth certificate and a copy of their national identity card. They must also be accompanied by their parent or guardian, who must be a Bancamiga customer. If the guardian is not a Bancamiga customer, they must bring a copy of their national identity card, a valid Taxpayer Identification Number (RIF), phone number, and email address.

The Kids program offers a quick and secure way to access banking services, instilling the importance of saving and responsible money management from an early age. This year, the program has helped more than 17,100 children and teenagers join the banking system.
