Bancamiga Supports Adiffem on its Way to the CONMEBOL Women’s Libertadores Cup
The two-time national champions prepare for the international challenge to be held in Argentina, from October 2 to 18
Bancamiga reaffirms its support for the Integral Women’s Football Academy (Adiffem), the two-time national champion of women’s football and the representative of Venezuela in the 2025 CONMEBOL Women’s Libertadores Cup. This sponsorship by the financial institution reaffirms its commitment to comprehensive development, sports promotion, and the social development of Venezuelans.
Adiffem, the only academy in the country dedicated exclusively to girls’ football, has become a benchmark of sporting and social excellence. Its work focuses on girls and young women aged 5 to 17, many of them from low-income families, to whom it provides high-quality training and comprehensive support that transforms lives.
For José Simón Elarba, President of the Board of Directors of Bancamiga, “support for Adiffem reinforces the bank’s social responsibility strategy by creating opportunities and promoting Venezuelan talent. By investing in the development of women’s football, we promote sporting excellence and foster values such as discipline, teamwork, and perseverance.”
Bancamiga’s support contributes to ensuring that the athletes have access to essential resources for their development, such as transportation and meals, uniforms, and specialized services for the physical and mental well-being of the athletes, among others. “The fact that Bancamiga has been with us for two years is invaluable support, because we have very limited resources. We work with girls from very low-income families, and their financial support has been a real boost in helping us achieve our goals,” stated María Gisela Núñez, General Manager of Adiffem.
On their path to the Copa Libertadores, Bancamiga is by their side
For the second consecutive year, the team won the FUTVE Women’s League title and qualified for the 2025 CONMEBOL Women’s Libertadores Cup, which will be held from October 2 to 18 in Argentina. This new opportunity fills the athletes with enthusiasm.
Midfielder Melani Chirinos commented that they are approaching “this challenge with great responsibility. We know it’s a tough group. Our goal is always to win and advance to the next round.”
“I think it’s going to be a very exciting tournament. We’re going to give it our all on the field, we’re going to do our best. I know we’re going to go far. We’re going to make history for Venezuela and for Adiffem,” asserted goalkeeper Ariadna Da Rocha.
Bancamiga is proud to support these young talents on their journey to the 2025 CONMEBOL Women’s Libertadores Cup, investing in sports as a powerful tool for social change.
