The attorneys general of Venezuela and Russia, Tarek William Saab and Igor Krasnov, signed an agreement against transnational cybercrime for the years 2025 and 2026 on Monday, June 16.
The bilateral agreement was signed within the framework of the invitation extended by the Russian Prosecutor General to participate in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, which will also be attended by the Prosecutors General of the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Cuba, Angola, Belarus, and Turkey.

The Venezuelan official will be one of the keynote speakers on the main panel of the meeting, whose agenda includes topics such as “prerequisites for entrepreneurial freedom and investments for mutually beneficial cooperation,” as the hosts call it.
