The Chambers of Commerce of Caracas and Bogotá will hold a business meeting in Caracas on November 12, aimed at the vision of buyers, as announced by Luis Alberto Russián, president of the Venezuelan-Colombian Economic Integration Chamber (Cavecol)
On November 12, a business meeting between the Venezuelan capital and the Chamber of Commerce of Bogotá will take place in Caracas, as announced by the president of the Venezuelan-Colombian Economic Integration Chamber (Cavecol), Luis Alberto Russián.
Under the vision of buyers, the meeting will allow addressing key issues for both cameras in trade. Russián said that “a group of buyers from Colombia for some specific sectors, so that they come one or two days and may have contact with Venezuelan businessmen who want to sell to Colombia.”
Binational trade is also part of the agenda of this event. The president of Cavecol stressed that during the first seven months of the year, said sector “had a growth of 36.5 %, compared to the same period of 2023″.
He added that it went from $445 million last year – from January to July – to about $607 million. Regarding Venezuela’s exports to Colombia, Russián reported that there has been a decrease due to problems in the production of the country.
