Pontifical University of Chile offers blockchain course
The course, which begins on April 22, is the first in this area that opens the number one university in the national ranking
Chilean students interested in the cryptocurrency ecosystem, blockchain technology and related topics can start a course on April 22nd at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile.
This university is located in the first place in the country and offers the diploma through the UC Extension Center. According to the information offered about the course, «it is especially dedicated to computer, civil, industrial and execution engineers«.
The curriculum of studies includes foundations of blockchain technology, development and implementation of smart contracts, business platform for the public and private sector, digital currencies and other related topics.
Among the renowned professors who will dictate the course are «Jaime Navón, director of the Department of Computer Science of the PUC, Mauricio Arriagada (master in Computing), Miguel Ángel Branada (Accenture specialist)».
Another special course that may also interest students in Chile is offered by the University of the Frontier of Chile entitled «Digitization and new business: Industry 4.0».
