Workers would accept salaries in cryptocurrencies

A survey states that 31% of employees would be willing to receive their payments through electronic currencies

A recent survey of 1,000 people ensured that 31% of employees would be willing to receive their payments through cryptocurrencies.

Despite this, many workers prefer to receive their payments through traditional channels. The survey was carried out by the multinational software company Sage, which used the Google Surveys platform for this medium.

This survey also reflected that 11% would choose to divide the forms of payment by 61% in conventional salary and 80% in cryptocurrencies. Darren Francis, commissioner in charge of the survey highlighted the following:

“It’s interesting that more people are leaning toward the “all in” option, aspiring to get most of their salary in cryptocurrencies.”, Francis explained.

The results of the survey also indicated that younger generations are more willing to accept cryptocurrencies as payment. Millennials were the age group with the highest interest in being paid in cryptocurrencies, with 33% of respondents between 25 and 34 years old willing to do so.
