Windows 10 has reached a million computers

The company Micorosft reported this in a statement, where it also thanked the users for their trust in the product

The Windows 10 operating system has exceeded 1 billion active devices on which it is installed worldwide, as announced by Microsoft on Monday.

This number of users accumulates the devices of 200 countries in which the system has been installed since its launch in July 2015, according to the American company said in a statement. Data from both computers and Xbox consoles and virtual reality devices, among others, are included.

“We couldn’t be more grateful to our users, partners and employees for helping us get there,” said corporate vice president of Modern Life, Search and Devices at Microsoft, Yusuf Mehdi.

Likewise, Microsoft highlighted the extension of its operating system among the Fortune 500 companies, of which it assures that one hundred percent of them use Windows 10 and that it has become “a critical platform for business transformation”, according to Mehdi.

With the end of the support of the previous version of the system, Windows 7, which took place at the beginning of the year, Microsoft assures that with the transition to its latest systems, companies can operate “more efficiently and safely and position themselves to offer better products, services and solutions”.
